Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

**Although I wrote this last week (3/29), I'm linking it to the new NMM (4/5) because...well, because its just a stunning example of something I would NEVER do...onward to the NOT ME's...

I didn't take my kids to school in my jammies. Without a bra on.

I would never do that. My bra size contains a letter than should never, ever go in public unsupported. And besides, I'm only 30 (twenty-ten)...I'm waaaay too young to be "that mom". You know the one.

And I didn't forget my house key when I took my kids to school. In my jammies. Without a bra on.

I didn't forget my house key, when it was raining, and BabyBear's speech therapist was going to be at the house in 15 minutes.

And I totally did not wander around the house in my jammies, without a bra on, in the rain, holding a 16 month old, looking for an unlocked window, cursing the fact that I never taught the dog to unlock a deadbolt while she whined at me from the other side of the door (the WRONG side of the door).

And to sum up, I did not find an unlocked window, drop BabyBear in first, and then unceremoniously dump/climb/wiggle my way through the window to land in a heap on the bedroom floor.

The dog will never tell. The baby will never tell. It never happened.

Not me.

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

As for me...

I did not oversleep today.
My children did not oversleep today.

We did not all sleep until 9:00 am, which is when we are supposed to leave for school.

And I did not forget to make bread last night, so my children could have healthy lunches for school.

And I did not leave my last $10 in my brother's car, so that were I to not make bread, I could at least let my children buy their lunches at school.

And I did not become so overwhelmed at the time (pushing 10:30) and lack of lunches and/or money, that I decided to call the whole thing and keep the kids home today.

Nope. Not Me.

School is important.

I would NEVER do that.

Not Me Monday

Oh boy...this is gonna be a short one...
Because, well, it certainly wasn't me who got a nasty breast infection (whispering) yesterday...
Who treated this breast infection with antibiotics left unfinished from the last two times I was prescribed antibiotics and didn't finish them (cause everybody knows you're supposed to finish your antibiotics...all of them). Nope. I would NEVER do something so irresponsible.

And I most definitely did NOT crawl painfully...slowly into bed at 4:30 yesterday, to sleep until almost 10 PM! Wake up, eat a piece of cake, and go back to sleep until 9:00 this MORNING!!! All while googiedaddy and the googies played outside on the most beautiful day of this young March.
NOT ME.

Oh well...at least is me who is feeling much much better this morning. :-)

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

As for me....

I certainly did not tell Little Man to change his baby sister's diaper yesterday, rationalizing it in my head that I was teaching him a lesson--keeping him from being one of "those guys" who never change a diaper...full well knowing it was just because I didn't want to change the diaper myself...NOT me.

I did not ignore Baby Bear's calls from her crib this morning once I realized that googiedaddy was using the blender in the kitchen...and it would only be a moment before he finished and heard her himself...and I totally did NOT snuggle down deeper into the blankets with that realization.

And I DEFINITELY did NOT yell at tell my children all weekend to "clean their rooms", only to drop some thread on my side of the bed in my room and discover a world of crumbs, cobwebs, trash, dustbunnies, and ants under the bedside table and bed when I knelt down to retrieve said thread. Ahem. And Baby Bear is not currently squealing in glee at those non-existant ants as they climb up her little footie jammies while she stands on my side of the bed.

And finally, I definitely did NOT let Baby Bear OD on a whole bunch of cheddar fishy crackers for breakfast (on googiedaddy's side of the bed) so I could write this post.

Nope, no way.

NOT ME.
