i was first introduced to two girls patterns when they did a giveaway over at delia creates. i entered the giveaway (didn’t win, btw)—but it didn’t matter! because as soon as i clicked over to their etsy shop i was hooked!
i limited myself to four—but oh what a hard decision! i could easily take just about every pattern they offer and hole myself up with piles of yarn for a month or so!
their little baby shoe patterns…well, they had me at hello.
hoppy baby bunny slippers crochet pattern
the bows! the ears! the fluffy tails!!! I DIE! yes, this was one of the ones i bought. really—how could i not?
little diva toddler children’s boot crochet pattern
this little diva boot pattern (and the smaller furrylicious baby boot pattern)--let’s just say that after i put them in my pattern roundup on tuesday, my sister-in-law texted to tell me that if i’d make them for her, she’d have a baby. yes--that’s how powerful these tiny fluffy boots are.
(and how surprised was she to find out i had a pair sitting right there waiting for my soon-to-be niece/nephew? hehehe)
think only the girls are covered by two girls? well you’d be wrong!
the sailor baby boy booties crochet pattern
umm, honey? i may need another baby boy.
no babies in your life to crochet for? no problemo! they’ve got women’s slipper patters, men’s slipper patterns, and hat patterns too!
and the patterns—so, SOOO well done. easy to read, helpful tips and pictures—even a newbie crocheter like me had no trouble at all!
SO LET’S GET ON WITH IT, SHALL WE?
two girls is run by—you guessed it—two girls, who also happen to be sisters! lorin and kris have sweetly offered TWO WINNERS the choice of TWO PATTERNS from their shop!

ReplyDeletepick me, pick me, pick me. er, i mean 'what a nice thing to do i sure hope i win' ;D
ReplyDeleteps - i've just made the paiyton cloche you featured on tuesday for a neighbour's great grand-daughter - she had knit one herself but doesn't knit a lot and although she used aran wool she used 3.75mm needles so it only fit a doll!
Oh my gosh! What a great shop! Thanks for introducing it here. :D I would really, really like to win this! Those bunny slippers are too cute.
ReplyDeleteI've seen those little diva toddler boots in person people. ADORBS! Especially since the googster crocheted (sp?) them in my favorite yarn....Caron Simply Soft. Waiting patiently for hand me downs : )
ReplyDeleteLove the little diva booties! I'd make them for my daughter. :) I so want to learn to make baby shoes like this... it could be my kick to do it!
ReplyDeleteSo many adorable patterns it would be difficult to choose. I would love to make the mommy and me yoke slippers for my five expecting friends and their tiny bundles. amandabieghler at gmail dot com.
ReplyDeleteThose pink ones are adorable! When I saw them I thought "THEY'RE SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE!" Please tell me you've seen Despicable Me! lol Otherwise I just seem crazy. Maybe this would help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82utG7Q3G_k
ReplyDeleteAnyway, hope I win! :)
Oh, they are soooo cute. Would make such wonderful presents for new baby girls.
ReplyDeleteNever entered a contest before, but these are just too cute. I'll make them for my grand nieces, my daughter's buddies' babies, probably hand out extras to strangers' cute babies at the grocery store. They're probably addictive.
ReplyDeleteIf not, I'm going to have to join the 22nd century and learn how to use paypal, just to get my hands on the patterns.
xo

I my gosh those bunnies are adorable! My little one is just finally standing up this week so of course I have baby shoes on the brain. I even love the idea of the sailor shoes for a girl with a twist or two. Such a fun giveaway!
