o1) we took the kids to see the muppet movie.
it was cute, the kids liked it.
but you know what i couldn’t help thinking through the entire movie?
what i wouldn’t give…
to have miss piggy’s
entire wardrobe.
seriously?!?!?! did you see THESE SHOES????
even the hair!
sleek and smooth one minute…
flowy and wavy and layered the next…
and don’t even get me started on the HAT. WITH. A. BIRDCAGE.
for realsies.
the pig even had a spread in instyle magazine wearing outfits custom designed for her:
AND she was featured on project runway all-stars.
that’s it. NEW GOAL FOR GOOGIEMOMMA 2012:
embrace miss piggy as a fashion icon.
(i’m fairly certain we have the same body type)
okay, that was a long #1. onwards…
o2) i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to do this:
except with a pair of heels. (some youtube tutes here and here)
okay, i have to do it RIGHT NOW.
o3) our girls’ room project was featured at the DIY showoff and at Miss Priss’ pinterest partayyy last week. woot woot!
thanks so much gals!
o4) last week we were out doing the food shopping and elliot peed through her diaper onto her outfit. of course i had no other clean outfit with me, we were 1/2 hour from home, and had at least 2 more stops to make. i told jeremy to drop me at the marshall’s and i’d run in and just grab a cheap outfit for her real quick.
i came out 15 minutes later with a outfit…and another outfit, and 2 pairs of shoes, and a pair of boots, and a pair of jeans for girlfriend girl, and a throw pillow.
three bags.
it was really hard to hide that throw pillow behind my back.
true story.
o5) enjoy your weekend! i’ll be airing out my house today—i don’t care if it is january—these windows need to be opened and the wind needs to blow this stomach virus OUT OF HERE.
googiemomma out!
This post made me laugh out loud! Especially the part about your quick trip to Marshall's. Hilarious.
