Oh boy...this is gonna be a short one...
Because, well, it certainly wasn't me who got a nasty breast infection (whispering) yesterday...
Who treated this breast infection with antibiotics left unfinished from the last two times I was prescribed antibiotics and didn't finish them (cause everybody knows you're supposed to finish your antibiotics...all of them). Nope. I would NEVER do something so irresponsible.
And I most definitely did NOT crawl painfully...slowly into bed at 4:30 yesterday, to sleep until almost 10 PM! Wake up, eat a piece of cake, and go back to sleep until 9:00 this MORNING!!! All while googiedaddy and the googies played outside on the most beautiful day of this young March.
NOT ME.
Oh well...at least is me who is feeling much much better this morning. :-)

Are You Ready For A Challenge?

2nd Annual $5 Challenge!
Here's the challenge: Create a new Spring decor item for your home using only $5 worth of items purchased at a dollar store - i.e. Dollar Tree, Dollar Store, Everything's $1.00, etc. The $5 does not include sales tax.
You may use the following supplies *if* you already have them on-hand - paint, glue, paper, fabric, tools.
I think I'm going to give it a shot!
Off to the Dollar Store...hopefully the inspiration strikes!

Vacuum Insulated Beverage Bottle For Everybody!!!!!
So we got ourselves a thermos.
Its got two cups.
We can take COFFEE with us wherever we go. And be all fiscally responsible and what-not.
Sweet, right?
Apparently, its quite popular with the googies...
Exhibit A: A True Conversation
Little Man, watching from the back of the van as I pour a cup of coffee for googiedaddy: "Mom, when you guys die and we're taking all the stuff out of your house..."
Me, prepared for some deep conversation about life, death, and everything in-between: "Yeah, bud?"
Little Man: "I want that."
......
chirp, chirp
googiedaddy: "Well, maybe we could just, you know, buy you your own Thermos. And, you know, not die."
Little Man: "Yeah, I guess. But I reeeally like that one."
