As for me...
I did not oversleep today.
My children did not oversleep today.
We did not all sleep until 9:00 am, which is when we are supposed to leave for school.
And I did not forget to make bread last night, so my children could have healthy lunches for school.
And I did not leave my last $10 in my brother's car, so that were I to not make bread, I could at least let my children buy their lunches at school.
And I did not become so overwhelmed at the time (pushing 10:30) and lack of lunches and/or money, that I decided to call the whole thing and keep the kids home today.
Nope. Not Me.
School is important.
I would NEVER do that.
That's funny. I would have just kept them home too. Sometimes stress is just not worth it! LOL Thanks for you comment on my blog, by the way!
ReplyDeleteHey EVERYONE needs a stay at home day. Honestly, sometimes you can learn more with taking a mental health day than sitting at a desk. Get outside, have fun, try again tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteOh, no - glad it wasn't you because that sounds like a rocky Monday morning. I blame daylight savings time for this one.
ReplyDeleteI personally believe that everyone should get the Monday after daylight savings off - just to have a day to get adjusted you know! :P
